-------------------------------------------------------------------
I was up early today didnt sleep all that well for some reason. I
ended up walking around the Boardwalk a bit before we got going for the
day. I love Crescent Lake early in the morning, though I rarely make
the effort to do this.
After breakfast in the room, we walked to DHS, arriving before opening.
First stop, TSMM, where we just decided to do the stand-by, and not
worry about FPs today. I did better, but of course Rocky still beat
me. Next stop, Great Movie Ride. Rocky doesnt mind this as long as
there isnt a long wait. He really hates the preshow room with the
switchbacks just one of those uncomfortable crowd situations. The
preshow room was less than half full, so it wasnt a bad wait.
Did Star Tours, with virtually no wait. I took the opportunity to take
some pix in the queue. When we got back from our trip to Endor (well,
no, we didnt actually make it to Endor we had a rookie pilot), it was
drizzling a bit, so we decided to hit American Idol again. None of the
contestants could really carry a tune, but the last one was an adorable
14yr-old girl, so of course she won.
The rain had gotten worse while we were inside, and the temperature was
dropping, so we finally made a run for the boat, and headed back to BWV.
A quick stop at the Screen Door, a light lunch in our room, and a
little break.
We cleaned up a bit for the evening, and headed to Epcot to check out
the DVC Merry Member Mixer. While really not our thing, I figured we
could stop by for a bit and just get our free Christmas ornament. (Is
that terrible?) Anyway, the line was crazy, but eventually we made it
into the big white tent. We got some hot apple cider and a free holiday
rice krispie treat (well, Rocky got two as I dont eat them). We
watched some kids do a hoola-hoop contest. They also had a table set up
for kids to make some little decorations. And there was an insanely
long line to buy a special pin (we passed). There were also some
characters on hand for photo ops. But mostly it was just a whole lot of
people we didnt know, in too small a space. We didnt last too long.
But we did get our free little Christmas ornament, LOL.
We made the walk through Epcot and took the monorail to the Polynesian.
We had dinner ressies at Ohana. Yeah, I know a vegan at Ohana?
Well, surprise surpise this was the highlight of my trip! (Well,
besides meeting all you wonderful RADPers.) In fact, the seven course
vegan FEAST that Chef TJ created for me was so amazing that I have
already submitted an entire article on it to AllEars. So Ill leave out
the details here and just say that hopefully anyone whos interested
will be able to catch a full report, with pictures, soon.
After this, we were both too full to do much of anything. We managed to
waddle to the monorail, from there to MK, and then a bus back to BWV.

That must be amazing. Can't wait to read it and see the photos. Lisa
I do hate that queue, too! I don't mind it when it's moving, but I've
been through it a few times where it was so slow, we saw some of the
reel repeated three times.

Well, congratulations for at least braving the crowd. Between handling
this and the RADP meets, I think you may need a new title!

Cool! That is one of the things that is still good about dining at
Disney - they do seem to go out of their way to accommodate special
dietary needs.

Nope... I may have braved a couple of crowds, but I was, and am, still
horribly bashful. I'm not giving up the title. (Unless Dreslaine would
like to start posting. Then maybe I'd consider handing it over.) ;-)

Sometimes they really get it right. Chef TJ is amazing. (To date, he's
the only cast member I've ever requested an autograph from - including
characters. I asked him to autograph beside his picture in "Walt Disney
World for Your Special Needs".)
