I was there for a final Hoopla (HOOPLA!) in September. The cast
rather strongly implied that the whole thing is being shipped to
either Tokyo or Hong Kong...

All I know is that it was still there last month. As long as it's
still there, I suppose, there's hope it will reopen.
Does anyone know if they're still renting it out? I'm wondering if we
could rent the place next RADP meet.

Supposedly ConGaloosh in September of this year saw the very last
performance. But see here:

Screamscape recently posted some pictures showing the decor, pretty
much, gutted.

Actually, there was one more private event the night after ConGaloosh's
event that was officially the final event ever at the AC. (It was my
friend's wedding reception)
It wasn't a full cast, though, so there wasn't a Hoopla, just three sets in
the Main Salon with Otis, Samantha and Pamelia, the last one including the
Colonel. There were also many photo ops with the three club members, and
they were fine with us taking group photos on the stage and such.

I gotta say that with the especially cold nights, I really, really
missed not being able to hang out here last week. It was just too darn
cold in the parks to enjoy ourselves.
