I remember a few years back there was a lot of discussion about some guy
who ran a "safe" vacation planning website for people travelling to
WDW. Seems that one of the things he (and his alleged staff) did was to
call each and every morning to WDW dining reservations and flood them
with fake reservations for popular restaurants, particularly breakfast
at Cinderella's castle. Turns out he was actually selling off the
reservations to the highest bidder, eventually prompting WDW to change
it's reservations policy to stop this nonsense.

Does this guy/his site still exist? I seem to remember it got converted
to some kind of private, pay only site.

That would have been Dr Howard (Howie) Ditchek.
Uncle Howie of Howies Angels.
Interesting reading.

Seriously now, people pay someone for information that is pretty much free just about everywhere on the net to the single most popular resort destination on the planet?  Safe for families?  notice though that they wont' take any more "new members".  That's pretty funny.  Actually, in this day and age, I find it astounding that someone just hands over their credit card numbers to some complete stranger on a website for something they can do themselves with 6 months advance.  Places like "allearsnet" do all thsi for free and have pretty complete information on WDW.

Very funny.

Unfortunately, the practice of getting CRT reservations (apparently) still
exists at the new site.
