Another drive by posting....

Hi!

I'd like you to meet the next ex-Disney employee!
HAHahahahahha...

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2149023/iPhone-thief-Katy-McCaffrey-outs-man-stole-iPhone-Disney-Cruise-photos-synched-account.html?ito=feeds-newsxml

It's almost as good as the guy who wrote his bank robbery demands
on the back of one of his deposit slips...

(Okay, be the first to ask what a deposit slip is, and you'll feel the
wrath of all the old people in this group. Which conceivably could be
most of us..)

Dumb crooks?? When I get back to PA (I leave tomorrow morning for WDW)
remind me to tell you about the crook who broke into my garage and stole
a 5 lb bag of potatoes and a quart of olive oil and nothing else.

That's not dumb! That's a hungry cook who likes good food. Maybe he
already had garlic and rosemary from another neighbor..

I read about this in Facebook. But this article has way more detail in
it. iCloud tells the truth. Dumb castmember.

And the article doesn't even mention how much he racked up on her account
in roaming data charges for all those uploads! That's probably going to
cost her more than just replacing the iPhone.

Funny thing, I always run out of deposit slips before I run out of checks.
I just don't write that many checks out of my account, but I do end up
making a deposit or two each month.

Deposit slip: An undergarment meant to keep bank customers from seeing
my outline when I am depositing money in person on a bright sunny day ??

"Replacing"? The article said that Disney authorities already have
the iPhone and will be returning it to the owner.

The Daily Mail must be one of those not-very-reputable UK tabloids
I always hear about. Who else would embarrass perfectly innocent
people by putting their photos in a story about someone who had a
stolen phone?

So maybe they will cover those roaming charges, too.

Yeah, that was a bit odd. Although The photos came from the victim's FB
page, so they are already somewhat in the public. Still, the least they
could have done was to obfuscate the faces of the people in the photos
(other then the thief, of course).

If this guys turns out to be the actual thief and not an idiot who bought
the stolen phone from a shipmate (unlikely), Disney will make it right with
her if there are any charges. They will have to....this is very
embarrassing.
