COLLECTING ANIMATION ART

Animation art has become the most popular collectible in recent history,
with prices appreciating in value faster than anything like it. The
artwork, especially the older pieces are few in number, and the thousands
of new collectors each year drive prices higher still. Not only does
Disney and Warner Bros. art go crazy at gallery and auction sales, but
lesser studios (ie: Hanna-Barbera, MGM, Fleischer, etc...) artwork sells
well too. Animation from Japan is the new hot item. Prices vary
drasticly in Anime but good pieces are still available at inexpensive
prices.
