Hi Cher - For us to receive any future emails you'll need to send them to
the official US OPEN email on the web site. Thank you. Karen

This is a brush off! Once again, she's thumbing her nose at everyone.
She's saying don't send your crap to _us_, send it to our mail clerk who
can delete it without bothering us. We don't care about you, or what any of
you think or want.
I would continue to send it to her and to the rest of the Open Board
directly to their respective email addresses. I would hope that they look
at some of the 280+ names on the petition and realize who they are
snubbing.
What freakin' nerve!

petulance over not instantly getting exactly what they want.

No offense, Jon, but as you seem to have no personal interest in the
subject, why don't you go play elsewhere.
ObClue: if you keep dumping unwanted and demonstrably ineffective
advice on these people, and complaining about how ineffective it is on
Usenet, you should hardly be surprised if the same is done in regard to
your own actions.
If it bothers you that much, you are heartily encouraged to ignore
my posts - as you already stated you were going to do.

Oh grow up.
A while back i was surprised that Karen was using an email address for
US Open business that belonged to her other business. Apparently she's
now learned her lesson and is suggesting that people send mail that's
not for her specifically to the general USO address.

I agree , I know nothing of the inside
of the US Open.. BUT
i would not be suprised if the rest of the board has asked that this highly
charged
matter be handeld in an official manner and NOT thru some ones private email.
Or maybe Karen thinks it needs to be handeled officialy & not her privatly.
IF everything the US Open does .. You see as an insult & a snub .. then they
will be very afraid to work with you at all..
The Great Manndica Fighters of Africa say to Box your enemy in on 3 Sides &
give him a SAFE way out and blood shed will be spared and peace can be made.
Its alos rumored that they never lost a fight ???
PS I hope you get what you want :)
oh oh just call me "PC" JB
:)
It is amazing to me that people are making demands and setting
negotiating terms for the Open's Board. The Board members are the
ones in power and the best way to get them to respond favorably to the
desires of the petitioners is to meet them on their grounds, instead
of sowing dissention.
It sounds to me that many of those who have been vocal on this issue
are not committed enough to either work to the Board's terms or to
boycott the event.

Give it a break, Chris, or you'll get another poppycock.
Illegalities!
People should read the documents they sign :-)
