Unfortunately, due to the heavy workload Phil Foglio is under (see my
previous post) at the moment, he won't be able to do the art for the
Suicide Squid t-shirt (not a dream, not a hoax, not an imaginary story).
So I'm looking for either suggestions for an artist (along with how to
contact them, and please make it someone who you think might actually
be willing to do it for a reasonable price; a Todd MacFarlane design
would be both unlikely and way out of our price range) or actual art.
Please note that if I'm unlikely to have seen an example of your or
someone's art, I'll ask for either a reference where I can find it or a
sample; I want these shirts to be good one in the Suicide Squid tradition
of fine and suitable artwork.

Also, if you'd like to be on the Suicide Squid t-shirt mailing list, send
me a message with your size, how much you'd be willing to pay for one
(including postage), and if you'll be offnet for the summer a snailmail
address at which you can be reached.

Oh, an idea just struck me; anyone who's going to the San Diego Comicon
and might be willing to get an SS sketch done at Artist's Alley please
contact me. Kathy, do you have a list of the Alley participants handy?

Hmmm.
Suicide Squid as doen by Bill Sienkiewicz. [Totally wacked out.]
As done by Trina Robbins. [A 1950's teen comic.]
Adam Warren. [HUGE eyes, dinky little bikini.]
Todd McFarlane. [A pose sure to cause even the Squidster pain.]
Kieth Giffen. [But who wants a close up of a beak and sucker pad?]
Dave Stevens. ["What do you mean, 'It looks like Betty Page?'"]
