First (only a THEORY to be shot down by everyone else):
Blink could be the fourth to cross over. Before you hit the reply button to
send hate mail, think about it. Sabretooth, by joining X-Factor, would get
to meet up with the one person truly in love with him. HUGE ANGST WOULD
FOLLOW. Marvel would make money like hell by giving fandom's favorite
mutant villain/hero a girlfriend he has never heard of. Also, this has the
potential of causing more Limited series than Rogue/Gambit and even
including more with Sabretooth/Gambit. WOW, MARVEL COULD MAKE MORE MONEY.
MAKE MONEY MARVEL! (For those new to the comic world, MArvel used to have
Make mine Marvel as a slogan or some other crap).
Second (okay, so this has nothing to do with cross over, this is just me
ranting)
What the hell does Marvel think its doing. First, it finally marries off
Scott and Jean. Then, it hints at possible stuff between Jean and Logan
after Logan goes nutz. They promise a love interesest between Storm and
someone (who is Forge). This ends in one of the greatest Covers I have ever
seen (Whilce Portacio Storm in Rain). Its been hinted they may get back
together, but it is destined to become yet another dangling plot. X-force
gets a new leader, and it appears that Boomer gets involved with him. Which
I guess means no more Sam and Boomer. Betsy and Warren, yet another great
cover and issue. So what happens, THEY KILL PROF X AND GIVE US THIS ALTER X
STUFF. I like many of the Alter x, especially the humor of Gambit & the Es
and the gothic style of Gen Nxt. I like Morph, he brings much needed humor (
see the issue where he morphs into Erik and gives Quicksilver the long
speech if he doesn't come back and then says tell them to floss. But let the
kiddies (in Marvel age they are all about 7, with Gen Next being 3) be in
love for once. Actually, quit trying to get huge profits by giving us
crossovers every friggin month and instead, let the writers write!
Whew... I don't think I even breathed during the entire post.

"Not another Shrubbery!"
"Then, when you have found the shrubbery, you must place it here beside this
shrubbery, only slightly higher so you get a two-level effect with a little
path running down the middle."
"A path! A Path! Nee!"
"Then, when you have found the shrubbery, you must cut down the mightiest

The only problem with this is I think Clarice is younger than Jubilee,
and Sabretooth is probably over a hundred.

Okay, let's play a hypothetical game. Let's say Blink crosses
over and follows Sabes around. Let's also pretend he doesn't immediately
kill her. What kind of relationship would they have?
Blink feels a strong tie to Sabretooth, for good reason. To her,
Sabretooth is her Savior, her Knight in Shining Armor (TM) who saved her
life. She follows him around in Alter-X like a puppy around it's master.
She worries about him, hinges on his words, and generally tries to be
like him in some respects. She is very young, (14, 15?) and probably
never had a love interest before. Sabretooth is the closest to it that
she has, and it seems to be a crush/worship kind of relationship, if
there is any romantic tie at all. I doubt she is looking for a romantic
part of the relationship at all. The part of the loving relationship she
wants is the guardian/caring part. I doubt anything physical is
prominent in her mind.
Sabretooth is a recovering homicidal killer. In his life, he has
grown up being chained in a basement by his abusive father, trained to
develop his killing instinct in a harsh military elite force, and then
released to the public. He had known killing all his life. Do you think
he got any real compassion or caring in his childhood? In his life in
the CIA? Even as a resident of the X-Men, he has been treated as a
prisoner, chained or locked up, never really treated as a "guest." He
has been conditioned not to care. The closest he probably ever came to a
caring relationship, Birdie, was really not that close. At a moment's
notice he was ready to kill her. His interest in her went hardly beyond
what she could do for him telepathically, and I imagine her willingness
to do so came more out of fear than any real compassion for him.
Now these two meet. For the first time in his life, Sabretooth
has someone who genuinely cares for him. She wants to do whatever she
can to make him happy. Her compassion would be a strange entity for
Creed to accept. His first instinct would be to either use her or shun
her away. Her relationship with Alter-Sabes had been strained, and she
would probably be persistent in her concern for him because that's what
it took in Alter-X as well to get a kind word out of him.
The thing Blink craves most is the attention and protection of
Creed. The thing Sabretooth needs most is an altenative to the homicidal,
self-involved mindframe he has grown to have. Both need each other. Sex
is not on their mind in this situation. Whether they could learn to give
each other what they need would be a fascinating storyline.

she crosses over, I doubt it will happen.
I read on the net that there are already 3 confirmations. Most likely the
4th will be Morph.
Another problem is that though Blink MAY have a slight crush on Creed, he
acts more like a parent. A lot like the Wolverine-Jubilee relationship.
It would cute to see her adjusting to the mainstream Sabertooth, though
Blink : Mr. Creed! You made it too sir!
Sabertooth: Wathcha want skirt.
Blink : Mr. Creed?
Sabertooth: Mr. Creed... I like it!
I get a horrible feeling of nausea just thinking about the term "lovers"
with Blink and Sabretooth. *Yeeeeeuuuuch!*
: Personaly I would love to see them together. Not holding my breath
: though.
As a father-figure, ok, I can handle it. As a lover? I think I would
stop buying X-books.

No. This isn't even deserving of SPOILERS, it is so well-known... Lobdell has
said that Blink will not cross over...

here we go again with this daughter mess.
first of all we forget that Blink will get older while it takes
Sabretooth damn near 100 years to grow a grey hair.
we had this arguement before with Jubilee and Logan (which is going to
happen remember this is Marvel).

peace
somehow, though, this didn't stop Wolverine from taking an interest in
Jean Grey, Mariko, Yukio, Heather Hudson,....
It's not a matter of physical attraction. But Sabie and Blink do have a
father/daugher relationship -- nothing outstanding about that, they
develop in the real world too. Remember, folks -- "relationship" does not
have to mean "sexual" as well. (imagine that...)
