I don't have the list of strips that runs in the Sunday paper, but I
do know that on that day, they run:
"Rosy's Diner" by Charlie Daniel, the News-Sentinel's staff
cartoonist. It runs in color in the "Local" section.
This is as local as a comic can get. There's a real Rosy's Diner in
Knoxville.

A year's archive is available at the AAEC site,
it runs among Mr. Daniel's other ed-op cartoons
as "Rosy's Diner" is a local editorial cartoon.

on April 22, 2007.
Before that it seems to have appeared irregularly
though mostly on Thursdays.
The archive also has it on April 12, 2007,
April 5, 2007, March 29, 2007, February 8, 2007
(all Thursdays) and January 10, 2007 (Wednesday).
Haven't got a date for its first appearance,
but did find a reference to it from November 2006.
Oh, and I don't think there is an actual
"Rosy's Diner" in Knoxville. I couldn't find
one in the White Pages anyway.

My mistake on that. It turned out to be fictional.

Yep, you're right. There are TWO Sunday comics sections. I thought it
was suspecious; it have very little number of strips.
The Sunday strips I listed above are from the "Funnies & Games"
sections. They also have a "Comics & Commentary" section and it has
