I noticed when I got today's March 13, 2016 Arlington Heights, Illinois Daily Herald 4 page Sunday comics, I noticed the last page instead of having these strips:

Real Life Adventures
Judge Parker
Reality Check
Arlo and Janis
Betty

I noticed there were 6 different comic strips on the last page (5 of them used to run in Chicago newspapers Tribune and/or Sun-Times, and 1 still runs in the Sun-Times):

Diamond Lil
Beetle Bailey
Shoe
Andy Capp
Mother Goose and Grimm
Chuckle Bros

Could it be a change or maybe a minor mistake? I bet it's a change.

Of course: The other 3 pages of the Daily Herald Sunday comics remain in today's March 13, 2016 comics:

Dilbert*
The Born Loser
Pickles*
Sally Forth**
Rose is Rose
Monty**
Frank and Ernest**
Agnes
DeFlocked**
Mark Trail
Big Nate
Redeye (Yep, still running the rerun abused or something like that Sunday reruns as of this newspaper's date)
Ask Shagg
Uncle Art's Funland

* - Also runs in Chicago Tribune comics
** - Also runs in Chicago Sun-Times comics

The Daily Herald didn't even make a notice about Sunday comic changes, I even tweeted the Daily Herald about this, but if I get any tweets and/or updates from them, I will keep you posted.

Out of curiosity, you don't happen to know how long Andy Capp was in the Sun-Times do you (The Tribune archives had Andy from 1963-'85)?

The Chicago Sun-Times ran Andy Capp from September 1985 to October 1989.

Wow. Short run for Andy there (Though the Tampa Bay Times dropped the daily version of Andy Capp at the end of February 1988 to make room for "Bent Offerings" drawn by their staff cartoonist, the late Don Addis; the paper ran the Sunday version of Andy well until the late 1990's - the Tampa Tribune ran Andy Sunday only until 1997).

Also due to contractual obligations, when Andy Capp (along with Fred Basset and Dennis The Menace) moved to the Sun-Times on September 9, 1985, they couldn't run the Sunday versions until October so the Tribune continued to run the Sunday versions of all three strips until then (although the Tribune managed to get Fred Basset back when Tribune Co. took over distribution and Fred's second stint at the Tribune lasted from 1/18/1988 until 3/3/2002).

And in a weird local Tribune instance involving Andy Capp and Dennis The Menace (Tampa, not Chicago), when the Tampa Tribune's afternoon paper Tampa Times folded in 1982, neither Andy nor Dennis joined the Tribune's daily comics lineup unlike some other former Times strips whose Sunday editions ran in the Trib (Two former Times strips - Bloom County and Cathy - would be added later; the former when Doonesbury - itself a former daily Times strip - took its' 21-month-long sabbatical on 1/3/1983) and the Tribune ended the Sunday versions of both strips on 8/17/1997.

Despite the Sunday might be a change or error or whatnot askew in the March 13, 2016 Daily Herald comics, the daily Daily Herald comics lineup of: Dilbert, The Buckets, Pickles, Monty, Judge Parker, The Born Loser, Gray Matters, The Grizzwells, Mark Trail, Big Nate, Heart of the City, and Adam @ Home continue as usual.

I just got a tweet from The Daily Herald on Twitter, they said "Someone just goofed and grabbed the wrong page, should be back to normal this Sunday. Our apologies."

So it looks like the normal last page of the Sunday Daily Herald comics (Real Life Adventures, Judge Parker, Reality Check, Arlo and Janis, and Betty) should return in the Sunday, March 20, 2016 Daily Herald comics. Oh well, it was good with 6 replacements in the March 13, 2016 Daily Herald Sunday comics...

As promised, the normal last page of Daily Herald Sunday comics - Real Life Adventures, Judge Parker, Reality Check, Arlo and Janis, and Betty - returned today on March 20, 2016 after a week of substitutes. And the usual normal Daily Herald Sunday comics first 3 pages (including rerun abused Redeye Sundays still running in 2016!) remain, of course.
