Hi all,

I was wondering whether or not any of the Soap-Opera-y comic strips (Apartment
3-G, Judge Parker, Rex Morgan MD, Mary Worth's Family, etc) have ever been
collected in book form. Thanks in advance!

:)

I know that Blackthorne published at least one volume of Mary Worth reprints.
These are seen occassionally on eBay. As for the others I really don't know.

Did it include the the "very rare Mary Worth in which she has advised a
friend to commit suicide"? :)

You know , funny you should mention that. I was in The Android's Dungeon in
Springfield and they had a copy of that very strip!

Stan Drake's "Juliet Jones" was collected in two large reprint albums about
20 years ago. I have the first one. Drake was a master draftsman.
Breathtaking stuff.

"Abbie & Slats" was reprinted in two collections by Ken Pierce 15 - 20 years
ago too. Those aren't bad.

Alex Kotzky's "Apt. 3-G" definitely needs some sort of collection. By the
1970's, his work had loosened up a lot and was very expressive. I've rarely
seen anything like it.
