Thanks for the detailed info. I hadn't known so many strip bite the
dust and creators had passed away last year.

On a different note. KFS sometimes wipes out a strip as soon as it
ends and other times it never goes away. Because of this I missed the
last (Sunday, August 26, 2007) strip of "Triple Take", anyone have a
copy?

The strip went through various syndicates. It started at Tribune (then
known as Chicago Tribune-New York News Syndicate), then went to
Creators Syndicate, then switched to Los Angeles Times Syndicate, then
ended up back at Tribune Media, when they purchased the LA Times.

Another ending...maybe?

Okay, it's not really a comic strip,
it's an illustrated feature. But it appeared
in the Sunday Funny Pages.

"Mac King's Magic in a Minute"
by Mac King and Bill King
July 4, 2004 - ?December 2, 2007?
Sunday only
Tribune Media Services

Fellow RACSter Merlin Haas reported that it
stopped running in the TMS home paper on
November 11, 2007.

The TMS website only shows the strip up to
December 2, 2007:
http://www.tmsinternational.com/latsi/subcategory.jsp?custid=70&catid=1877

I know it had been running in The Las Vegas Review-Journal,
Mac King's home paper.
Can anyone confirm if it still runs there

New York Press had several strips that debuted this year.

It's almost three months into the new year, but I just discovered
another comic that began in 2007.

The City Paper always have this comics contest where the winner will
get a regular spot in the paper. That's basically how "Perry Bible
Fellowship" got into the papers.
