I'll burn in hell for wasting brain cells on a long-defunct comic strip,
but-

(having started to re-read the strip on gocomics)

Did anyone buy the Wedding Album wrapup issue? Did Frank and Brandy hook
up or not?

Yeah I got all (36?) issues of the comic book and...

...y'know, I really don't remember.

By the end of the run I was buying the comic
through habit and wasn't really into it anymore.

Don't hold me to it but I'm thinking it was about
Brandy marrying someone else and that falling
through, and then Brandy and Frank...
uh, drawing a blank there.

I dug up my comic of the wedding album; I don't know where the
newspaper strips ended, but Roger's goon^Hgroomsmen locked Frank in a
closet during the ceremony when he decided to defy her mother and tell
her how he really felt; Brandy ended up saying "I don't want to marry
you, Roger" at the altar and left. Frank escaped the closet, came to
the deserted chapel and thought he was too late, then Brandy tapped
him on the shoulder with a simple "Frank"; he shouted "BRANDY!" and
swept her into his arms.

The End, with a plug for the comic series, which itself ended at 37
per http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberty_Meadows with a several-year
hiatus after 36, which was the last issue I got, and _it_ ended with
Brandy telling her mother "we have a wedding to plan".

So no, she didn't marry Roger, but the strip appears to have ended
with no further developments (insert "typical Cho" snark here).

Thank You! That summary actually sounds familiar. I'm thinking maybe I
speed-read a bookstore copy that had lost it's shrink-wrap, because I'm
sure I wouldn't have paid whatever price was posted on the book.
(Googles) Hmm- prices all over the place, from less than five bucks, to
over 130. So it probably listed for 10-12 bucks new? Tried pulling up
the Cho website, but the publisher website it linked to apparently is
not firefox-friendly.

I believe TV Tropes refers to this sort of thing as "Strangled By The Red
String". (TWoP would probably refer to it as "The Love That Because I Said
So.")

The cover price on the wedding album comic (not part of a collection)
was $2.95. I'm part of a buyer's club at my comic book store, thus
got it for 10% off.
