I remember seeing the daily San Diego Union-Tribune comics grouped in 4 themed sections when I vacationed in San Diego for the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con a few years back.

Notice the San Diego Union-Tribune is still carrying Get Fuzzy while it continues in daily rerun mode and first run Sunday mode with no word still on its ending fate. I wish the U-T moved the Classic Doonesbury strips to Old Favorites (Maybe drop one OLD FAVORITES strip to make room for it - Like maybe Fred Basset?) and pick a new Off The Wall strip - my choices would be either WuMo or Carpe Diem.

Jumble also appears in the classified section.

I'm not so sure I'd go so far as to call it a "saving grace," but the extensive comics lineup is one of the things I actually like about my hometown paper.
