Alternative Press Expo (APE IV)- Hype/update

The Fourth Annual Alternative Press Expo (APE IV) will be held on Saturday
Feb1 in San Jose, CA at the Parkside Hall. Admission is $5.00 at the door,
qualified retailers with a business card will be admitted FREE. The
exhibit hall will be opne from 11:00 AM till 6:00 PM.

The Alternative Press Expo is a one day exhibit of self-publishers,
independent publishers and cartoonists.

In attendance at APE IV will be David Lapham (Stray Bullets), Jeff Smith
(Bone), Jhonen Vasquez (Johnny the Homicidal Maniac), Brent Anderson
(Astro City, Knee Deep Productions), Roberta Gregory (Naughty Bits), Donna
Barr, Jim Valentino (A Touch of Silver), Paul Pope (THB) and Batton Lash
(Wolff & Byrd) plus a whole lot more.

Publishers exhibiting include Slave Labor Graphics/Amaze Ink and
Fantagraphics. Members of Diamond Distributions purchasing depratment will
be in attendance making evaluations of new comics for solicitation.
