Robservations
XIII: The Secret Origin of Image Comics
Everyone knows the story behind the formation of Image Comics, right? A
bunch of Marvel's top artists join together and form a company so
successful that it remains the number three publisher in the industry to
this day. That is what happened, going on ten years ago, but it almost
didn't happen that way at all, as Rob Liefeld explains in this week's
installment of Robservations.

Yeah, yeah. I know we seem like "The Rob Liefeld Website" but really
we're not. No, really. We're not. He's just one of many contributors
to our site so if you don't like him, you can ignore his stuff but still
check out the rest of Spinner Rack. In fact, I'd prefer it if people
paid more attention to our reviews, feature articles, and everything in
our archives. Anyway, thanks.

Then you should hype some of your other "reviews, feature articles, and
everything in your archives" once in a while.
I've read other things on your site and I've enjoyed them as much (more
than?) the Liefeld stuff. You really should think about mentioning some
other content .

Actually, I do hype all our other content. Amost everyday I make a post
regarding the most recent site update, but maybe I shouldn't I alternate
between using [UPDATE] and [HYPE] in the headers. It just seems like people
choose to respond only to mentions of Rob and even go as far as suggest that
our site is somehow owned by Rob. Not true, of course. My opinion (which
does not represent Spinner Rack blah blah blah) is that Rob's stuff on our
site has been hit and miss but that is the case for many online columns.

Folks love to bash Rob around here. His column is just more fuel for the
flames. Folks care more about NEGATIVITY than POSITIVITY.
