to think that the Wally West series really hasn't had a bad writer: Mike

Issue two sold me on this series. It really should have been issue one, but

I'm really enjoying the Chuck Dixon/Scott McDanial "Year One" storyline.
Unfortunately, it brings out how depressing Devin Grayson's last year on the
book has been. I like her writing, but I hope NIGHTWING is a bit less bleak
when she gets back.

A competantly done super-team book. I like competantly done super-team
books, so I'm buying it (did I mention I buy too many comics?), but
something about it still hasn't quite clicked for me.

I'm not enjoying this series very much. But by the time I figured that out,
it was up to #10--and I'm not going to drop it now and stick my retailer
with two more pre-ordered issues.

I am really looking forward to this. I think Grant Morrison has now passed
Alan Moore as my all-time favorite comic writer. I even know the exact line
where it happened, in JLA CLASSIFIED #3: "These 'no-nonsense' solutions of
yours just don't hold water in a complex world of jet-powered apes and time
travel."
I'm going to have a hard time taking THE AUTHORITY seriously until they beat
up on some talking gorillas.

I really enjoy this book, and of course, it is being cancelled after next
issue. I can't help it. I enjoy reading about weird occult stuff (even
PROMETHEA #32), and I've got a think for cute goth girls.

Another book that's just not quite clicking for me. I don't know why. I like
the character. I like the writer. I like the artist. I think Wonder Woman
may just be nearly impossible to write interestingly. The only writer I've
seen manage it was Messner-Loebs.
