We return to The Platinum Earth today where our stranded Metrobay
heroines have made it to the world famous research organization known
as the Aegis Foundation. Here, it is hoped that a way back to their
world will be found. With two Japanese military operatives (Major
Ashikaga and Platinum Shrike) in tow, it's game on in finding a way to
open a portal to the alternative Earth of Snowflake and Jade
Lightning.

However, two things are not right -
1) The Aegis Foundation gynoid Cassiopeia has been corrupted by Master
Ultimo and she moves into action.
2) Armand, an Aegis Foundation consultant, seems to have done some
very wrong to Briana Bryant, the Aegis Foundation's lawyer.
Oh, and we also drop into the United Nations Solar Fleet frontier
station of Verona to see what is going on in Mars orbit.
