dropping x-Men Forever.

I thought I as going to like the revisit back to the old days of the old teams, but it just doesn't seem to have the same impact to me.

Stories seems a little off, like he has ideas he wants to use, but he doesn't want to come too close to stories that have already been written.

I'm dropping it, binning it in the same pile that I do for Ultimate X-Men, another version I don't read.

I dropped after the first issue of the very first series. It's out of
continuity and nothing really happens anyway.

The thing that gets me about X-Men Forever is how far off the
characterization is for many of the cast...it's ridiculous given that
Claremont was the one that really established these characters...I
just hope the book gets cancelled before he innevitably brings back
Wolverine and it becomes truly unbearable.

I'm disappointed so far, but I'm willing to stick with it a bit longer.
