>How would you feel like if a Mystic Enhanced the XMen powers?
It's been done several times...such as in the old X-Men Asgardian
stories where, among other things, Storm almost inherited the powers
of Thor...in the X-Men/Alpha Flight mini, several team members had
their powers magically altered...same in Inferno...Rogue has absorbed
powers from gods before (most recently Ares)...Moonstar was and is
once again a Valkyrie...I even seem to recall an X-Men First Class
story where Dr. Strange did something to Cyclops' powers so he could
take out beings from other dimensions...and that's just off the top of
my head...I'm sure there are many more examples.
But I mean on perment scale here, like say Wolverine had to become
stronger, after facing SabreTooth an Wolverine was near dead an Thor
then caused SabreTooth to retreat, an he was taken to asgard, an had a
mystical potion made that enhanced his mutant powers and Adamantium
laced bone claws and Adamantium laced Skeleton! And his bones and body
was covered completely in Mystically enhaced Adamantium and the potion
made him bigger an stronger an smarter!

If Thor ever has to rescue Wolverine's lame ass like that, it won't
matter how powerful Wolverine gets, because he'll be living down the
shame for the rest of his life.
How about instead, Wolverine becomes actually really dead for once.
He probably has unconfessed sin on his heart, so he goes down to one
of the Marvel Hells. There after suitable struggle, he takes over
from Mephisto and becomes as powerful as you like.
And we preferably never see him again.

So you want to turn Wolverine into the Silver Surfer with a bad hair
cut? And Sabretooth is currently headless, by the way.
Sorta yes, but I was thinking of making it so Wolverine becomes a god
like Asgard has!
Wolverine already is a god...the god of the overrated and
over-exposed.
And the god of bleeding.
That too.
