Aww, man, I _love_ that cover, and I've only ever seen a little
b&w picture of it in an Index or something. I'd love to see it
in all it's full-sized, color glory, but not enough to buy a
signed, limited edition print. :-(

I doubt it. Seems like just an excuse to retcon the entire X-book
universe.

And how does this fit in with the mysterious meeting between Vermilion
and Havok in a dark
alleyway followed by the discovery of the charred corpse of howard
Mackie!

I bet Havok has a flashback because someone else manipulates him to have
one.

The first Master Mold shows up around about issue #16 of the
book. Since the Mold was needed to make all the other Sentinels,
it's a reasonable assumption that it was around before the X-Men
were formed (which wasn't that long before issue #1).

No, you weren't. I wondered what in the hell was her problem =now=. If
she's got a problem with her mommy, why does she have to take it out on
Kurt? And hugging Peter goodbye? Hello? Does she even know this guy?

Sadly, yes. He and Kitty used to double date with her and Kurt. *sigh* I
always said it would take something really shitty to throw me off of
Excalibur, even after I deep-sixed all the other X-titles. This may just
do it. What is Raab's problem with Sefton anyway? I liked her as a

Amanda and Kurt have been looking rocky for ages; it's something
Warren seemed to be introducing and never got around to dealing with
before he left. I'm going to take Raab's word for it that just because
she's leaving the island doesn't mean we won't see her again.

And yes, she does know Peter. Back in the early days of the X-Men,
Kurt and Amanda used to go on double dates with Peter and his girlfriend
(Betsy Wilford, wasn't it?) from time to time.
