Embarrassingly enough, this has been going through my head over and over
for the last couple of days.

Damage Control, volume 1, #1. Final panel.

Sorry if this has been mentioned already. I just had to get it out of my
system.

Yeah...the X-Force/Spidey crossover...Black Tom blowing up one of the towers
and Juggernaut knocking the other over...that's ran through my mind a lot.

First off, in the comics, only the top few floors of one of the towers
exploded.

Juggernaut knocked the other over?

Are you sure of this? I have the X-Force one and it still only indicates a few
floors going.

I'm pretty sure...because it fell over on Spidey and X-Force, who somehow
emerged from the rubble...Spidey, in true fashion, ended the book
threatening to kick ass, and started the next part of the story without the
bluster and basically as hapless as always. Though I haven't pulled it out
lately.

I'd completely forgotten about this until you brought it up. Ironically, I
considered destroying the towers in that story but ultimately rejected the idea
because I couldn't figure out how to do it without loss of life.

Destruction on this scale belongs in comic books, or CGI-intensive movies. In
reality, I find myself unable even to process the events of last Tuesday.
