Does anyone else think it's going to have something to do with The
Sentry?

Maybe even Thor IS The Sentry??

Sentry bores me to tears.
I'm still wondering why Bendis wanted him on the Avengers, when he's
done next to nothing with the guy.
Of course when Thor does come back, I want him kept as far away from
the Avengers as possible till Bendis is gone.

I think Bendis is getting worse than Morrison with the kid in the candy
store stuff. They both see stuff they like and want to have it all and
use it all and mix it all together into one thing. The difference
being Morrison puts it all together in a hyper mix, and so it works
sometimes; whereas Bendis is so slow, things don't come to fruition
fast enough to be satisfying.

y'know... i've thought the same thing too. there has to be some purpose for
the guy and he does possess thor-like...things. might be interesting. i
can't say anymore....the void might get me....

And, even when he does something with him, it's not well-explained (or, at
least, not illustrated clearly); I'm still utterly lost as to what happened
to him in the final panel of his appearance in NA this week.

ISTR that Bendis wanted Thor completely off the board for Disassembled and
NA specifically so as =not= to write him. With the CW event shattering the
NA team dynamic (and possibly creating a second Avengers squad and book not
under BMB's aegis), now may be the time for him to come back and =not= have
to be written in some form of, what, neo-Shakespearean-realist (?)
dialect...
