Sooo, sources say that DD is actually in charge of the Hand, now?
How'd that happen, why didn't Elektra resume command? What is Murdock
having the Hand do? And someone mentioned his sensei being there, is
Stick somehow back?

The whole Skrull thing apparently soured them on Elektra.

The Hand approached both Daredevil and, as a second choice, Kingpin,
to take over and lead them...Daredevil took over to destroy them from
within (they've even taken to wearing horns on their ninja masks like
DD)...and to use them to screw with Norman Osborn...the sensei in
question is not Stick but actually Stick's own sensei who is a drunk
and former member of the Hand (I forget his name)...DD had to pretend
to kill him as an initiation for the Hand.

Let's hope Eastman and Laird never decide to write/draw a crossover - he'll
be waited on Hand and Foot.

Um. There are so many reasons why either is a bad choice...Starting
with, DD hates them, tho he has the Skillz, and tho the Kingpin might
have the savvy, he's *not a ninja*!

Well, I guess they got what they deserve. Really, what's the reasoning
given for selecting their (second) worst enemy? Wolverine was in too
many books that month?

So, he's a good guy?

Well, Elektra wasn't exactly their biggest fan either.

I guess they figured the Hand would look cooler with horns than Wolvie
haircuts...and they probably ran out of other things they can do with
DD to take him closer to the edge.

Kind of morally ambiguous.

But Wolvie could have sub-contracted them for all the X-Force work.
Cyclops might have even have approved of the idea, turning the Hand
the official army for the X-Men and mutants in general.

And one would think that Wolverine would have been the easier sell
than the honest lawyer. Guess the Hand all hate those dirty muties
too much to consider working for one.

Well, for one, despite all the talk of how bad ass Wolvie is, he
really isn't that great a fighter.

DD hasn't been an honest lawyer in a long time...he was even in prison
not all that long ago.

Sexism once again rears its ugly head.

One (literal) blind date with Aeon Flux coming up. ~_^

This is very "Crying Freeman" where an organization put the person they
despise the most in charge.
