AbosrbingMan can do an more, an this also amplified her power an anyone
else she touches with permission, so what you think?

Well, Rogue *has* been to Asgard (I think), and she's swiped Thor
powers, so Loki may have an interest. But if he sells her the potion,
the only enhancement she's going to want is to be able to kiss someone
without knocking them unconscious and stealing their power. She won't
want all that other stuff - though Loki may give it anyway and use her
as her unwitting thrall to overthrow God Almighty or something.

I'd feel like you still haven't gotten over your need to see
uber-powered characters who spend a half second thinking of what power
to use and another half second to defeat the opponent.

There actually was one point at the beginning of the X-Treme X-Men run
where Claremont had all the powers Rogue had ever absorbed coming back
on her...but control has always been an issue for her and this was no
different.

Let me put on my surprised face. :-(
Apparently your concept of under-powered is anything less than the
ability to explode a solar system. And that's your problem. You
still haven't accepted the fact that better stories come from
characters that have to struggle to come out on top. Where's the
drama in having someone just shrug to take out Doctor Doom? You like
to see someone pound on a relatively helpless opponent just to see
them grind him into dust.

I honestly don't understand why...you can't do anything with
characters that powerful...there is no believable threat to them...the
stories would be incredibly boring...this is why Superman's powers had
to be limited from the days when he could juggle planets...this is why
the Phoenix has to die or be de-powered everytime she pops up full
force...there is nothing to work with.

I think it's a lovely idea and you should add in the powers of heroes
who've touched something she's touched. INCLUDING OTHER HEROES!

At times like this, I like to ask what the *character* wants. In this
case: Full control, okay. Phoenix-level power, probably not. X-Men
probably all have an aversion to Phoenix-level power.
