Hi folks!
I have a beautiful and very unusual Original watercolor sketch for
auction. This watercolor sketch of a long haired dog is done by the
famous Classic Comic Artist, the late Alfredo Alcala! As most fans know,
Alfredo Alcala was a very reknown comic artist whose Conan the Barbarian
comics works appeared in many of Marvel Comics books, such as Conan the
Barbarian and Savage Sword of Conan. This brilliant Filipino comic
artist made his mark doing his comics work on Voltar and other pieces.
Last year, Mr. Alcala passed away and the comics world lost a great
master. This piece of art was a commissioned piece from my sister, who
loved dogs and wanted Mr. Alcala to do a piece for her while visiting at
a local Comic book convention in 1979. THis original watercolor was done
on paper, measures 9x12" and is in excellent condition. Although this is
not the typical type of subject matter that would make a comics fan
jump, here is a chance to own a piece of original art done by this late
