Mermaid Publications - Introduction

This is a Message From Mermaid Publications.
As president and founder of Mermaid Publications I would like to introduce
everyone to our company.
Mermaid Publications was formed in the summer of 1993. Our first project
was to hold our "1994 Comic Book Contest", in which we offered winners
contracts to produce their own monthly titles. Every title released in
the early months of 1995 will be a direct result of that project.
Five continuous monthly titles will be released during the first two months
of 1995. These are: "Starry Knight" by Lori Salts; "i 4 N i" by Gil
Garcia; "Go-Go Boy" from Neil Johnston; "Mortal Coil" from Keith Davis,
Tom Luth, and Troy Zurel; and "Impulse" written by Joseph Theroux and
illustrated by Lori Salts. These titles are our milestone releases of
a universe that will expand to 12 continuous monthly titles within the
next 3 years.
Mortal Coil can be ordered through all distributors. Our other comics
can be ordered through: Comics Hawaii, Heroes World Distribution,
STYX Internation, Multibook, Andromeda Publications, and Universal
Distributors. If retailers do not have access to these distributors then
they can order the comics directly through us.
We are presently holding our "1995 Comic Book Contest" which will
offer five winners contracts to produce their own monthly titles.
As a promotion we are also giving away 36 original art pieces from our
comic books in our "Original Art Giveaway" draw. Some of the art work
includes first appearances and cover pages.
