Mark Badger
Batman: Jazz #1, pages 7 & 8 (pen and ink)
First line: "Look at this now. When's the last time you saw white
people in here?"
From some of the last work he did in pen and ink before switching to
almost 100% computer. Moody, impressionistic, signed, and has a really
big Batman splash.

$80

John Byrne
Batman/Captain America: page 18
First line: "I hope this motley crew isn't typical of the kind of
oppositino you face here in Gotham."
Features Batman, Captain America, J. Robert Oppenheimer, and bunch of
other thugs from this entertaining one-shot.

$200

Paul Chadwick
original for "Moving a big rock", page 1 (pen and ink)
First line: "They're working on him. He's just learned what drift nets
are."
Chadwick panel pages are difficult to find.

$125

Mark Hempel
Sandman #67, page 12 (pen and ink)
First line: "Of course he'll be back."
From "The Kindly Ones", the longest (and I think best drawn) story
arc. Signed by Hempel. Featuring Cain, Lucien, the Corinthian, and the
new Sandman (not in costume, or using his powers).See it at

$200

Sheldon Moldoff
Flash illustration (pen, ink, and watercolor dyes)
Recreating the cover image for Flash #1, way back when. Nicely
composed, and inexpensive for this Golden Age great.

$50

Steve Rude
Nexus portfolio, 1982
6 well-rendered (in gray wash) plates. The plates themselves are NM,
the signed and numbered folder (#273/2000) is VF. Early work, rare, and
includes the first appearance of the Badger.
$30

Scott Saavedra
Dr. Radium, Man of Science #1, page 1 of the second story (pen, ink,
and mechanical tone)
First line: "You lucky, lucky boy, Roy!"
A gag in every panel. I now have other Saavedra art, so I can let go of
this one for a song.

$25

Matt Wagner
Batman/Grendel (first series) #2, page 8 (pen and ink)
First line: "Over here Jim. Well, it's not the Riddler."
A great Batman page. No action, but when you read it you'll know what I
mean. This one pains me to give up, but I need the money more than I
need the art at this point. (I have other examples of his work.)
Perhaps I can arrange visitation rights? Anyway, see it at
