Someone's been watching the AMC cable channel.

Damn thats a stupid team-up idea.

Uh, huh. Neo is only super in the Matrix. How are you going to get
Superman in there and then what good is he if his powers get down
graded to a normal human construct.

Isn't that the plot of a number of 70s stories? How will Superman cope
without his powers?

Actually given the way that human beings are supposed to power the matrix,
slotting Supes in might be very interesting.

What would be cool in a Dark Horse Terminator / Matrix cross-over!

You obviously have not seen the 2 sequels. I can't fault your taste,
but you are factually incorrect here.

Matrix characters are just technomages in leather who don't chant
their spells. I think they would read like a non-goofy Mr Mxyzptlk.

Actually, if they really wanted to flesh out the timeline, they could
include

- the *first* Robocop film (cyborg construction)
- Astro Boy/Mighty Atom (robot oppression)
- Magnus: Robot Fighter (robot rebellion)
- Battle Angel Alita (a possible side-story)

Then again, there are other series and episodes/storylines that could be
used as well.

(The B:TAS episode, His Silicon Soul, seems to stand out the most for me)

Anyway, whoever decides to flesh-out Mike's idea, I wish you well.

Signed,

who highly recommends seeing The Animatrix: Second Renaissance.

Or Superman could be jacked into the Matrix outside of the bubbles
that most humans were immersed in. However, how do you install a jack
on someone with invulnerability? Even the humans in the bubbles had
invasive implants.

Of course you could probably justify some sort of helmet transmission
device.

Interesting concept. That would involve two forms of machines in
charge of the Earth and two stratas of humans, those who are feeding
the machines unknowingly and those who are fighting on the surface.

Rather like Jack Chalker's Soul Rider series where those who had

Finally someone who appreciates the Soul Rider series. I couldn't put
the series down when I got it.
