I can't imagine Spiderman either on the moon or in the satellite. If
he can't commit to the Avengers, based as they are three blocks away
from home, he's not going into space on a regular basis.

Nah, the Oustiders go looking for trouble before it starts, that never
seemed to be Spider-Man's style, IMHO
And being in a team doesn't fit the character. It made no sense for
him to be an Avenger, when the whole world was supposed to hate him.

Me too. With Marvel vs. DC I wanted to see the characters of the
two universes interact, not this bizzare fused character stuff. The
paper used for the Amalgam books would have been better spent on
seeing what went on while the contest occurred, IMO.
