LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES (VII) 14.

Following up on last issue's action, Cosmic Boy arrives at the new Medicus
One for treatment of his injuries. Comment by Dr. Gym'll makes me think his
magnetic powers are gone, at least temporarily. The rest of his team,
Element Lad and Chemical Kid, go after the Braalians who injured him, thanks
to a tracker Brainiac 5 sent out to them. Taking on the pirates, Element
Lad gets injured, then he and Chemical Kid get trapped behind some rubble.
CKid finally begins to act like the hero, using his powers to speed up Jan's
metabolism, so that he heals up and they take the fight to the Braalians and
win the day. Timely arrival of other Leginnaires prevent them from having
to take on any other pirates who might be lingering about by themselves.

Meanwhile, in the sub plot sections, Brainiac 5 finds Comet Queen turned
traitor as part of a post-hypnotic command from Saturn Queen. When her
memories were wiped behind the scenes at the start of the last series, she
was given the command to kill Brainiac 5 (specifically) if she ever got the
chance. Also, Sun Boy and Phantom Girl check up on the vault that secures
the great weapons of the ages, to see if the Atomic Axe is still secure. It
isn't. It has been removed, and a holographic image of it has been left in
its' place. Pieces start falling into place, but will anyone put them
together before it is too late?
