Smythe and Fiona already know their target is on a rooftop and can leap
to other rooftops. So why are they all chasing him on the ground?

(Admittedly maybe they spared one guy to go up a fire escape as a
lookout. Of course, The Mangler can just double back and jump the guy
then...)
