Also, is it just me, or has Google Groups gone silver and shiny? As far
shiny as it could really get, being all monotone and everything, I mean.

The new interface is very ugly. I started to cry when I saw it.

Apparently you can do all sorts of fancy graphic things with it,
though. I just poked around, and I think you need mod privelages to
actually apply them to a group. But still, there's always that option
open to us now.

Also, the reply thing is much better for me on my horrible 28k
connection, because I don't have to load a new page each time I want to
make a reply.

Probably not open to *us*, as this is a Usenet newsgroup, not one of the
proprietary Google things.
