High Concept Challenge #13, "A Legacy Reclaimed," should involve a hero
or villain who has been replaced in some way, and has come back either
permanently or temporarily.
For instance, were I to write a story in this HCC, it'd probably be set
in the late 1990s and have Brightsword I having to see if he could fit into
the old costume to rescue his daughter from Darkshield II, in the process
finally learning that his old foe Darkshield I was a false front for
successful espionage activities.
Dave Van Domelen, might write that story anyway if a good hook lands in
his lap.

Oops, sorry about that. Let's go with a deadline of the end of the
calendar day Central Time September 25. Any antepodean entrants might do
well to email me if they're going to be butting up against the deadline, in
case there's any further moderation wonkiness. :)
Dave Van Domelen, will also consider an extension if anyone's almost
done by the 25th and shoots him an email requesting it.

Oooooh. I wonder if I can work my latest Just Imagine chapter into this.
Andrew "NO .SIG MAN" "Juan" Perron, wonders if it counts if the replacer
didn't know about the legacy...
Well, I don't think I can work this into Silver Arrow #3, but I might
have something for either Going Solo or an LNH one-shot.

I've figured out something for Superhuman World 2010. It helped when
I stopped worrying about *which* hero could be replaced by a
predecessor. That's kind of like asking, which U.S. Congressman can
be replaced by a challenger during midterm elections - especially on
my world this year.
Today (yesterday by the now, given my time zone) being the day it is
gave me an idea for the story. Here's hoping I don't run out of steam
writing it.
