There's a new update at The Continentals. Here's the teaser:

"DEATH DEFYING ACTS!!!"

Even with a bullet in his leg, the Mangler surprises Smythe and Fiona
with his daring, death defying escape.

Oh, I see. I thought he was just hanging there bleeding - the art is
slightly ambiguous. I mean, it makes sense once you go back to the last
page and see him moving as she shoots him - it's just the effect of time
between updates being longer than the turn of a page.

Yeah, I know. I've heard from 2 or 3 folks now who thought this was a
different guy. But if you go back to the last two panels on the previous
page you see Smythe, Fiona, and the bobbies looking at something on the
ground, and on the very last panel you see a blood drop trail leading up
to a wall with blood smears going up it. It's a bit hard to tell it's
blood and not, say, dirt in an alley because it's in black and white. So
yeah, maybe the blood should hae been made more prominent.

Sorry for the confusion.

Quite all right! I actually thought it was the same guy, but didn't quite
catch that he was escaping instead of just hanging there. Once I looked
back at the last page again, it cleared up.

Andrew "NO .SIG MAN" "Juan" Perron, quite quite.
