jacket. Wear and rubbing to edges of boards with moderate bumping to head and
heel of spine and along the upper edges of the covers, and some scuffing to
covers. 300 pages with illustrations, footnotes, references, index of sites,
and index of place-names. An interesting work on the grave finds of a band of
Celtic warriors who crossed into Hungary in the late fourth century BC. There
is information on digs at Pest county, Nograd county, and Heves county,
Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen county. $50.00.

Very good octavo hardcover in very good dust jacket. Light wear to edges of

wear and rubbing to edges of the covers. Name of previous owner on the front
free endpaper. 335 pages with illustrations, footnotes, bibliography, and
index. An interesting and classic work on the origins of the Celtic peoples
across Europe and in the British Isles to the Bronze Age and Hallstatt Period.

edges and corners. 254 p. w/bibliography, many illustrations. A heavily
illustrated, attractive look at the interiors of homes in the old Celtic areas
of the British Isles, from castles to cottages, old to modern. $45.00.

Women of the Celts.
Rochester, Vermont: Inner Traditions International, 1986.
Second printing of the English language edition. Good octavo hardcover in good
dust jacket. Exilibrary with all the usual stamps, marks, and flaws associated
with that condition including card pocket on back free endpaper, bookplate on
the front free endpaper, and call number tag on heel of spine. Light wear to
edges of boards with bumping to the head and heel of the spine. Dj has light
wear to edges and light scuffing to covers. Main problem is that the dj is
taped to boards. 315 pages with endnotes and index. A feminist interpretation
of Celtic culture and history emphasizing the equality of the sexes and the
freedom of the women. $10.00.

First edition. Very good hardcover in very good dust jacket. Light wear and
rubbing to edges of the boards with light bumping to the heel of the spine and
on the lower panels' edges. Dj has wear and rubbing to edges with some
moderate scuffing to the covers. Remainder mark in black marker on the lower
edges of pages. Book has a noticable smokey smell to it. 384 pages with
illustrations, list for further reading, and index. A collection of Bardic
literature with selections from some of the greatest bards like Taliesin,
Myrddin, and Aneurin. $15.00.

Zaczek, Iain.
The Art of the Celts: Origins, History, Culture.
London: Parkgate Books, 1997.
1st edition. Very good oversized hardcover in very good dust jacket. Light
wear to edges of boards. Dj is lightly scuffed and lightly rubbed along the
spine. 128 pages with illustrations, glossary, bibliography, and index. This
is a very handsome book full of pictures of Celtic art and history. It
includes chapters on weaponry, jewellery, ritual objects, and Christian
artworks. $18.00.
