I'd like to invite you to the Realist Wonder Society. There are four areas
of specific interest to this newsgroup:
"The Mole and the Owl," a romantic fable in the poetic tradition of "The
Little Prince" and "The Wind in the Willows," highlighted by original
watercolor illustrations. I'd be interested in your comments and
suggestions as this book makes the rounds in search of a publisher.
"Sailing Through," a children's book about the impossible promise a
12-year old makes to his dying brother, serialized on-line beginning May
29, 1995. You'll find the first chapter under "Serials and Essays."
"The Great Mosquito Debate," an environmental fable about eliminating the
most annoying insect from the web of life. I'm looking for an artist
interested in turning this visual story into an illustrated children's
book. You'll find the story in "Art and Poetry" under "Illustrated Books,"
in the category "Stories in Search of an Artist."
"The Last Christmas," an original screenplay for an animated film about
the Living Toys in Santa's Village and their adventurous search for the
mysterious heart of Christmas. You'll find this screenplay under
"Screenplays and Film."
Drop by for a visit.
