Recently the classic book titled 'Landscape Gardening in Japan' (1893,
Josiah Conder) was mentoned on the list. I note in my latest Kodansha
catalog that it's being reprinted. Should enough people be interested, I'd
be happy to order from Kodansha and send them out. List in the catalog is
$35.00, hardcover, 228 pgs, but I should be able to get it for less,
depending upon how many people wish to own a copy. Please reply *offlist*!

This book is also available in paperback under the title, Japanese Gardens:
An Illustrated Guide to Their Design & History, published by Dover. It is the same
1893 book which Dave references below plus the "Supplement to Landscape Gardening in
Japan", also published in 1893 originally, all in one book. I got it from
Amazon.com for $17.95 which includes shipping & handling. I would have preferred
the hardback version, but will settle for what I already have.
