[IBC] tree painting?

Did anyone happen to see the first episode of the "Forsyte Saga" on PBS
Sunday night? There is one scene where Somes is looking at an
impressionist painting with the woman who later becomes his wife. The
painting is a landscape scene with a number of trees in the forefront,
very gnarly looking. I didn't recognize the artist--was it an actual
painting, or one done up just for the program? Just curious.

That's what I was thinking, that it might be van Gogh.
