I wrestled 155 about a million years ago. Sucking weight, well, sucks.

Speaking of sucking weight, someone may be along shortly to criticize
you for using the word tat. Tell them to fuck off, would you? And to
answer your question: No, dropping weight will not ruin your tattoo.
Best of luck.

God, will you stop sucking the cocks of every new person who posts here?
Damn it's annoying. You'd have been better off to get the regulars to like
you instead of feeling the need to befriend every idiot who shows up to
overcompensate.

SUPRISE!!! There's a whole collection of regular posters who DO like Curt.
We just don't all feel the need to leap up to comment on it, unlike some
others who dislike.

Negativity is the source of discontent. Jeeze, lighten up.

Negativity? Do you consider a response to a post telling the OP to tell
anyone who says anything about using the word 'tat' to 'fuck off' as a
positive one? I don't...I actually see it as a trollish way to bait a few
of the people who get annoyed by it into ANOTHER arguement. Personally, I
don't care if someone uses the word 'tat'. I do get annoyed when Curt
sticks his nose far up someones ass in a post and I do get annoyed when I
perceive him playing mini-troll. His post could have easily stated that no,
gaining or losing 20 pounds shouldn't affect the tattoo. The other crap he
put in there was to make himself look better and to annoy others.

*** Some people, people who really enjoy and feel a deeper connection
for tattoos, believe the word "tat" cheapens and demeans what is an ancient
and powerful art and practice. You should consider this.

You will gain much more respect and be treated better by those
people who _can_ actually help you, if you call tattoos "tattoos."
In the same way, please don't call tattooing machines "tat guns."
You understand me, don't you?

Imagine going to Ed Hardy and saying "I want a dragon tat?"
That wouldn't really work with someone of his caliber.

If you use the full word, not the street slang, you
stand a much better chance of being heard. At least by world-class
artisans and enthusiasts.

I'd suggest reading International Tattoo Art, as opposed to
Extreme Bod Mod.

People judge you on the words you use. To say nothing of the
art you wear. Avoid cartoon tattoos.

In Modesto I would contact Rob at Mystical Body. Its a piercing only place,
but I trust his judgment on where he would go to get a tattoo.

In Sacramento go to American Graffiti.

Okay, who are you and what have you done with Keith? Or did you just
forget and took the BLUE pill by mistake this morning?

Actually, an excellent piece of text. May I quote it, properly
attributed, as something to pass on to younger folks to "wean" them
from street attitudes?

*** Actually, despite the advice you may have garnered from
the less educated and experienced quarters of RAB, weight
loss _can_ cause your tattoo to lose the original shape.

Obviously, if you get some lame-assed, black-magic
marker-looking, wannabe tribal (note lowercase), it
wouldn't matter.

It the tattoo had no shape to begin with, 20 pounds
won't change a thing.

If, however, you have some detailed Maori-styled geometric
laid on by a master like Alex Binnie, yes, a weight loss
of 20 pounds will mess with the layout and design.

I get the feeling you'll be getting that 75 dollar
piece right offa sheet #383.

Prove me wrong, I'll be very happy.

Its against the law to tattoo anyone under the age of 18
in California, so if you are looking to have a great
tattoo done you will have to wait. I am sure if you look
hard enough you will find someone thats a "practicing
tat artist that does some mean fine-line", but if you want
that great tattoo.... two more years to think about what

Ive scanned three actual barcode tattoos successfully with a lateral sweep
scanner. Two of them were on the same person. I went into detail about
it working sometimes in three posts in the last two months. Apparently
you werent paying attention.

Barcodes do not have to be LITTLE to be scannable. UPC for example
is not ACTUAL, its RELATIVE.

You've still yet to disprove point 1 and 3 of my post. :)

Why didn't somebody just post this:
http://216.17.62.101/cgi-bin/glossary.exe?search=barcode
when this whole barcode thing started?

Thats fine. Also, enumeration of fault is one of mine. Respect your elders.

That is the best idea. If you are 16 I would say pick a design you really
think you want and wait a couple of years to make sure you still want it. I
am 27 now and some of the designs I wanted when I was 16 I know I would
regret now. I am glad I waited until I was 21 before I got my 1st tat and I
don't regret any of the ones I have. Also if you want tribal and are
interested in celtic work one of the best artists for celtic in the world is
in Santa Barbara. I know it is a ways away from Modesto but since it will
be something you will have the rest of your life you might as well go to the
best.
