is your nipple is more sensitive after the pierce?
does your nipple become erect more frequently?
did you have any problems with migration?
what initial jewelery did you choose and why?
Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide for me.

Well, this was my first proper pierce, and is still healing - but yes, mine
is more sensitive, and it went into the areola.

Hang on, I'll let you know - yep. That was real quick, and I'm sitting at
work - so no real motivation for it !

Not as yet !

Mines a vertical ring, which is great after cleaing with salt water. The
salt dries on the ring, and so as move it about it gets inside. Lovely :(
Still, at least I know it's clean :)
Get barbells just behind the nipples. I had horizontal 1.8mm bars
about 15mm long.
Get two not one, what is this American lopsided thing ? With one
where do you hang the other end of the chain :-)
I experienced heightened sensitivity that hasn't died down after a
year. Great...
No migration but some rotation, symmetrical thankfully.

What do you think PA's and septum rings are for? (-:

my nips are small too, so my piercer pierced the areola. a straight
barbell worked well for healing. no migration and it stopped being
sore a few hours after. just make sure u get a bar long enuf to
accomodate for swelling. i switched to a ring 3 months after the
pierce.
> is your nipple is more sensitive after the pierce?
not usually, but when played with right.... also, it seems i can't do
anything to affect it but someone else.... :)
> does your nipple become erect more frequently?
i'd say just about the same as b4. ymmv of course.
> did you have any problems with migration?

straight barbells. there's a recurrent thread on rab on bars vs rings
and it seems generally accepted that bars help healing. u could
always switch to a ring after it's healed.

Consciousness: that annoying time between naps.
It sounds like your nipples are the same as mine were before I got them
pierced. To answer your questions:
1) Yes, they are most definitely more sensitive. They had no sensitivity
before, and now thery're unbelieveable!
2) They stay erect all the time. They enlarged to around 1/4" diameter,
after being pierced and upsized to 10ga.
3) Only very minor migration when one became slightly infected.
4) They were initially pierced with 14ga CBRs, because that was the
largest my then teeny nipples would take and survive. I didn't change to
barbells later, because I like the way they look and feel.
I'm glad I got them done, and wouldn't trade them (or the PA or hafada
or earrings or tats) for anything in the world.
Just my 2/100ths of a dollar...

In reply to your question on small nipple piercing:
My nipples are mall to mediun and my piercing gave me no problems. Yes
the sensitivity of the nipple increases.
My boyfriend also has his pierced and he has small (well smaller than
mine) nipples and his gives him no problem. Make sure that you get it
pierced well behind the end of the nipple otherwise, like mine, it will
work its way out if it recieves plenty of action. My boyfriends is well
behind his nipple and its still there, three years later. He notices an
increased sensitivity even from this location.

After upsizing the metalwork, sensitivity is agreeable. This
diminishes to pre-pierce quite quickly, alas. If I really cared, I
would wear smaller gauge (and shrink), larger (and stretch) over and
over.
> does your nipple(s) become erect more frequently?
I believe not, but it's more noticeable. With rings in it feels good.
Down to the lavatory in the midnight hour: twang! :-)
> did you have any problems with migration?
Sometimes I thought so, but the end result proves they never moved -
it was only me moving around 'em!
> what initial jewelery did you choose and why?
I didn't know enough to choose, and had 2mm gauge rings. Now I know
better I'd choose 2mm gauge barbells. YMMV, but consensus agrees on
barbells for trouble-free nipple healing.

Call if any problems. Go for it!

I pierced my left nipple at the beginning of the year ( BTW If
shirt pockets were on the right would every one have pierced right
nipples ? ) and mine are small and flat and dont really get erect.
I pierced it just behind the nipple , not deep into the areola, just
about a millimetre either side. Now the nipple has enlarged and
stands 3 millimetres high and is definitely wider.
I could comfortable put another pierce behind the original , and
probably will. The other one will have to be done tho - just to get
the symmetry back.
I too have/had small nipples.. My piercer had to pierce through the aerola to complete the
piercing (14 GA)
The less sensitive, the better.. :)

Nope.. and I hear that the smaller nipples don't usually have that problem.. especially if they
pierce through the Aerola..

A ring.. I thought it was easier to clean..

I've what I consider small nipples, but I got my left one pierced last
december. The piercer told me she had to go behind the nipple, because
it was to small.
I sure think it is more sensitive now, the first month it was erect
all the time, but now it is behaving like always, sometimes soft and
sometimes erect. But it now only needs a few gentle touches to get
hard. After the initial healing period (about two months) I stretched
it to a 10 gauge CBR with a 3/8" beat. I noticed a slight movement of
the inner hole, or I'm just thinking it because it seems that tho hole
are not lined up completly anymore. But it seems to stay at this
position for the last 5 months, so I think the movement stopped.
I got the SS 14 gauge CBR because she advised me to use that size and
I just liked the look of the SS beat. I stretched it to a 10 gauge CBR
with a SS beat just because I loved the look of that size.
Grtnx, and stay healty, Victor.

Piercer generally heightens the amount of sensitivity of the body part
being pierced. I just love licking my ear lobe piercing...
