allrighty. i have really pyched myself up for my 5th piercing..to catch up with
my tattoos of course....and i would like experiences on peoples who have had
their nose pierced...i do an apprenticeship but have yet to have the
oppertunity to come across a subject for a nose pierce....so i have never seen
one done yet...but i really want to know what to expect...my teacher has hers
done but her tolerance for sensation and/or pain is so very hight that an
accurate measure form her may not be at all that accurate ya know! well i want
to do it this week so any experiences would be so very welcomed!

still phsyched!

Anne,

I have a small diamond stud in my left nostril. It hurt while it was being
done and was sore for a while. It was a little worse than my ear cartilage
pierce.

Good Luck,

Anne-
I have an 18g ring in my left nostril, and abosolutely love it. It's true
that different people have different tolorences to pain, and for me this
piercing didn't really hurt at all...I can't really describe the feeling..
but it was not pain..it was sore for about 3 days..then went away..and it
felt like I'd had it forever...get it done..you'll never regret it!

I currently have a blue 14 gauge CBR in my left nostril. I wanted my nose
pierced for so so long and I love it. It stung getting it pierced but it
was a sinch. It was completely comfortable immediately afterwards.
The only problam I had was that for a month I had turned my nose into a
boger factory.

Yeah me too! I have had my right nostril pierced for about 16 hours
now. It is a beautiful dark blue ring, unfortunately all I could get
was a 1/2 inch diameter ring so the thing is huge. But the pain wasn't
that bad, although your eyes tend to water alot, regardless. Once she
got the needle through I was ok

You talking nostril or septum here. I've had a septum pierce, so
I can share that experience if you're interested. No idea with
regard to nostril piercings, but they can't be too bad given their
popularity!

That's a good question. I usually think nostil when someone says nose
pierce. I also have a septum and love it to death.

hey i also had my nose pierced. i got it done when i was 16 (9 years ago)and it
wasnt that popular then unless you hung out in the Village. Anyway, i had it
done w/ a GUN. Not only that but I had it done 3 times cuz i went ot catholic
school and it wasnt allowed. It did hurt w/ the gun anyway....and i got a head
ache. But as i've said b/4 everyone's pain tolerance is different. I got my
tongue done and it didnt hurt at all. But again everyone is different.
