Uh, I forgot to quote and I do know better than that from
posting to another ng. Sarah asked about tattoo shops
in Lancaster, PA. I quickly typed in Skip's and
Transcending Flesh, both in the same city, but failed
to say "why" I was sending this info out.

Sorry about that.

Not sorry about my brand-spanking-new tiny tat.

I'm Curt James, 35, tall, bald, bearded one what
finally got the courage up for that first tattoo after
having lived in biker heaven trailer park for 20 years,
navy for five years, college for four... ZZZ

This was my first tattoo and it was a great
experience. Done by Skip of Skip's Tattoo at
309 North Queen St., Lancaster, PA 17603
Phone: (717) 399-3980

The tattooist was very personable, patient,
and good humored. I was very at ease and
happy with the first taste of ink.

Cool 2-inch black lizard crawling across my left
shoulder blade.

Also have two cartilage piercings and three
piercings in the lobe. All left ear, but want
more cart pierces in the left and a pierce in
the right lobe.

All were done with "Ye Olde Piercing Gun"...

(sorry) :-)

... at the Piercing Pagoda in Lancaster's
Park City Mall.

Have visited here (r.a.b.) before and always
enjoyed the wealth of info and stories.

Was surprised to see Sarah's post asking
about shops in "my neck of the woods."

Wednesday today. Come on weekend!

Howdy Curt, glad you crawled out of the shadows to share
some information with us! Welcome to RAB delurkdom;
pull up a chair, stay awhile. But be careful when you
sit; you don't want to crush your RABbit tail (tm)

: Hi Curt,

: Welcome. Nice to hear from a trailer park resident. Good to have you.

: Laura:-)

You have other trailer dwellers here, you just didn't know it =)

They are called mobil homes now.

I wrote about trailer parks.

Laura wrote to say "Welcome." and that
it's nice to hear from trailer park people.

Caryn wrote to say there are
other trailer dwellers here.

Others welcomed me as well.

I'm just scribbling to say that although
I enjoyed my days as official trailer
trash, I'm now a garret...

(fancy word for a dang tiny attic)

...dweller.

I moved from the "mobile home park"
--although they're not all that "mobile"
if you had one like I owned... 12 x 60
rusted to the ground (is that possible?)--
to _Thee Most_ efficient of all efficiency
apartments.

Only $250. a month and I think I'm getting
what I pay for here... (cough)

On the good side it's literally a 10-second
commute to work.

On topic:

Thanks for the welcome and
(looking at tail side) the cool rabbit tail.

I rode into Lancaster City today and
stopped at a shop called Pop Deluxe,
6 N. Prince Street, Lancaster, PA.

Megan there replaced a gunned cubic
zironi-thingee with a cool solid hoop...

(18G steel seamless ring)

... in my top cartilage pierce.
Looks a lot better IMO.

I also got the first of three shots at my
family doctor, Nancy E. Jeffries, D.O.,
for Hepatitutus B virus.

She asked if I was sexually active and asked about the piercings.

She was very pleasant
and I was glad to talk with her.

She said that Hepatitis B is preventable
by vaccine, so I figured--I have the
health insurance--why not get the shot
to be on "the safe side."

Okay, enough from the rambling,
long-winded, newly tattooed.

shoulder blade)
