Sci-Fi Anime Saturday

The latest issue of the Sci-Fi Channel's "Sci-Fi" Magazine finally has
some information on Anime Saturday and the worst is true. Apparently all
the Sci-Fi Channel plans to do is rerun all of the titles it ran during
its anime festivals. It debuts September 30 but I don't see the point in
making a big deal about debuting something you've already ran. I didn't
see anything suggesting that new material would be forthcoming and as it
stands if you've seen Sci-Fi's anime festivals, you've seen Anime Saturday.

Actually, this idea is very good for promoting anime to large
numbers of people. Unlike the marathons, these will be seen by
many more people who haven't had the chance to see anime during
the marathon runs, especially because marathons were on the
weekdays.

Nevertheless, you're right; some new anime would be very good
for us and for Sci-fi channel.
