Could anyone give me a quick run down of this series? How many episodes?
Has it ended? etc. The only Gundam series I've seen is the 0083 series
and I thought it was great. Since then I've run across several model
kits from the V-Gundam series and although I have yet to purchase one these
kits they did catch my attention. Also I just read the articles in the
Nov/Dec issue of Mecha Press featuring Victory Gundam.

Thanks in advance,

Tom Terrones

March 25, 1994, to be exact. (Nitpick! =P)

On related news, G Gundam was *scheduled* to end on the last day of
March, 1995, on its 49th episode. There will be a new Gundam for 1995
(Surprise! =P).

I don't think G Gundam merchandise sells well enough to warrant another
similar series. Bandai toys for last years' new series sold terribly
bad. Kakuranger, Blue SWAT, and G Gundam were royal flops. This might
mean that this year's replacements--Auranger, B-Fighter, and (whatever)
Gundam--will be better.

I think Migeru is a pretty common last name. Coincidence probably. I didn't
read the novel version of CCA but I don't remember T.K telling me that Char
had a kid, just that Amuro had a kid.

I don't care too much for Silhouette, but Crossbone sets the background
necessary for a possible encounter between the EFM and the Jupiter
forces. Go, go Tomino!

Eh, probably. I hear the CB Gundam looks kinda funny though... it's got a
ship's prow sticking out of its chest? Verniers shaped like a
skull-and-crossbones? A beam Musket and Beam Cutlass? Hmmm... I'll have to
see it first.
BTW, there is a black and white Gundam, right? Are they on opposite sides?

Hey I love the Crossbone Vangaurd! It would be cool idea for a new
OVA, especially since we would get to see an older version of Zabine. Beam
Musket and Beam Cutlas? Actually does not sound like a bad idea, as Beam
Sabers have remained pretty much standard through Gundam. Some varation
would be nice, and could also reflect the advanced technology of the time
frame. Plus, the Jupiter Empire does not play that much of a part in anime
series, and it would be cool to see them animated.

no, waht it looked like was a shoulder tatoo. The pilot was this guy with

Hey, I would love to see Hathaway Lightning! SInce my Japanese is
not so hot, I have only heard about the story in bits and pieces. It would
be great as it takes place in a time period where no Gundam anime has been
made. It also sets up F-91 and V-Gundam. Lastly, while I do enjoy all the
Jion conflicts that have been animated, it seems that things are getting to
be a little top heavy, as most of the anime comes from this period.

Actually, a reliable source tells me that the new one is called Kido-
senshi M Gundam, and takes place in 0079 in Africa. I guess placing
a series as a side story close to the One Year War or thereabouts is
the most surefire formula. The One Year War was (surprise) one year
long, and it was a multi-frontal battle, so there's more place for
stories besides that which involved Amuro directly.

Interesting side note: the February issue of NewType had a picture of the
side of a Gundam on one of the last pages. The picture was at an angle
(sorta like on a catwalk looking down) so it was hard to make out detail,
but the Gundam had "fins" on the back of it, sorta like the God Gundam
from G Gundam, and had a skull on it's forehead in between the antennae.
I haven't tried translating the article yet so I don't know what it means,
but it seems to give at least a little credibility to the Crossbone Gundam
rumors I've been hearing about.

Same here. It would be nice if they made more gundams after space
year 0100. I guess Bandai wants to recoup it's losses after the last two
Gundams with something that will probally be a sure fire hit.
