I'd say that Babylon 5 has that honor (with JMS online since before the
pilot aired), but being first dosen't matter. Perhaps Gainax has gotten
too far from their roots. Or, more likely, now that they actualy have
*CONTROL* of thier work, they have become paranoid about how it's
presented. Or maybe we can blame it on AD Vision :-P

You mean that you can't have EVA *images* on the pages, I guess.
(I woulnd't know, I'm forced to use Lynx to acces Japanese pages,
Netscape and Mosaic keep timing out.)

They haven't shut down the text pages, I was at Wada-kun's site yesterday.

And what about Marc Hairston's Nadia page?

John is correct. I had none other than Carl Macek point this out to me
(and I removed Gainax from the list of copyright holders on the Nadia page
as a result).

As for Gainax and my Nadia page, they are aware that it exists (I got a
fan letter from them last year about it ^_^), but if they ask me to take
it down, I will. So far I haven't heard anything about it.

Keeping my fingers crossed,

No problem. I understood the message, loud and clear.

GAINAX is defending their copyrights like everyone else does, I guess.
Not a good PR move for them, but it's their right.

<sigh>

Is it not possible that they might *have* to defend those rights?

Don't I vaguely recall something that says if you don't take reasonable
steps to defend copyright, you lose it?

(But I agree that it's a shame.)

Maybe it was trademark I was thinking of, then. ^_^;;

I was thinking of the way D*sn*y justified their action in that day-care
centre business.

Hello to Mark Hairston. My name Is James Kaposztas, and this is my first
time online, via my Fiancee's account. I saw your Captain Nemo music video
at Otokon '95 and AnimEAST '95. Good Work on it. I've been doing Anime Music
Videos since 1982, and I'm impressed with it.
