Update

Here's the song again. This time, I've arranged the translation so that
you can see where they go in relation to the original Japanese.

However, I don't know how the ending song is oriented. Email
Richard U about final forms.

Don't Forget To Try In Mind
ai wa Jewel yori
subete wo kagayakasu

Now, the future in your eyes makes everything shine

[I] don't like weak-willed people don't betray the blue sky
I want to go fly before I dream

The music box of my heart opens and resounds
Tiny bits of happiness I play courage on these keys

Now the future in your eyes
Words are signals of eternity

Don't Forget To Try In Mind.
Love makes everything shine much more than the jewel.

Closing Song
------------

"What should I do about this impatience in my heart?
I have lost sight of my distant dreams,"
I blurt and look up at the sky.
My promise to you appears majestically.
/TRY/ Comforting words are just winds that don't reach my heart.
The worries I hang on to just get bigger
But it's something I decided myself, so
I'm probably okay by myself
Even if I fall, even if I get lost, because there's tomorrow.

But, if you must go, mmmm, I won't tell you no.
Just so that we can say we tried.
Tell me you'll love me for a million years.
Then if it don't work out ...
Then you can tell me goodbye.

For you, Erik, here are the lyrics in romaji with an English
translation for both the TV version and the full song, followed by the
lyrics to each version in Japanese Industrial Standard codes. The ESC
characters in the JIS codes are replaced with "^[" for posting.

These and many other anime song lyrics and translations are available
for anonymous ftp from romulus.rutgers.edu (128.6.13.2), in the
pub/anime/lyrix subdirectory.

Many thanx to Wataru Ondo for proofreading all my translations and
suggesting some subtle corrections.

I'm translating these songs to learn Japanese, so if you notice any
mistakes, please correct me.
