Tommy Hwang's post reminded me i hadn't posted this song...

Here are the lyrics to the first Touch movie opening in romaji and in
Japanese Industrial Standard codes. The ESC characters in the JIS
codes are replaced with "^[" for posting.

These and many other anime song lyrics and translations are available
for anonymous ftp from romulus.rutgers.edu (128.6.13.2), in the
pub/anime/lyrix subdirectory.

Well, the extremely taxing, yet somehow enjoyable experience known
as the Purdue Animation Club Dead Week Animarathon, to relieve some of the
tensions of those getting ready for finals, finally ended about 6:30 a.m.
after nearly twelve straight hours of anime features, miscellaneous anime
music videos , and the 1st (maybe "annual") PAC Souichiro-san Impersonation
Contest...Booowww.

Nodoz, where's my Nodoz...

- The 5th P.A.C. Animarathon was another success again!
A recorded 125 attendances (150 including those who didn't sign in),
the highest since we featured the KOR movie last semester (which was
packed up to the entrance). As an interesting fact, we broke the
fire quota by 45. It would not have been a good news if Kevin has
brought Kei and Yuri along......
Some 36 people survived until the end (around 6:30am).
Well done, guys! And my thanks to everyone who supported us!

- One simple question...
Why is it that nearly 90 percent of the Anime shows are overrun by
cute beautiful girls, but extremely hazadous and dangerous ones (or
anonying... either way)?
(Somehow, this realization inspired from last night showings caused me
a sudden chill today whenever a cute looking female came anywhere
near 10 meters radius around me... Lucky I am in Purdue, fewer shivers.)

- After placing a vow to get myself out of the P.A.C.'s Animarathon
before 11:30pm to get some rests (especially just recovered from a
terrible cold) and catch the morning classes, for five unsuccessful
attempts, I found myself back at the same seat, staring at the screen
again... At the sixth time, I made it out of the theator ( which was
around 5:30am), dropped, and missed the whole day's class anyway...
So, please judge... Am I qualified yet to join the rank of Otaku?

Just another moment of thoughts... 8)

Back to Anime!
(and for me, back to studying for the final exams... 8( )

Tommy Hwang's post just reminded me to ask: Has anyone done KOR
song translations? How about that song: Orange Mystery (SoundColor v2,
track 1: the one that goes: "Tell me tell me..")?

Thank you, kind ma'am.. I checked out one of those gifs of your
artwork at remus.rutgers.edu. Are those supposed to be self-portraits, or
just drawing? (Reminds me alot of the Eastman and Laird original TMNT
stuff, before they sold out to the mainstream.)

(This really isn't about "Lyrics in general", but...)

My friend Conrad Wong drew those pictures of me. They're for the
Rutgers Anime Song Book, which may be out by Anime Expo...

By my count that makes four publications that Steve is currently
working on, and he proposed a fifth one to me. Plus the work that he's
doing for Chibi-Con. Actually, Theresa, I don't think that there is
too much that needs to be done for the Song Book, except that most of
Steve's time is spent on editing the Atlantia or Chibi-Con stuff.

PS- Tell your friend Conrad to send submssions. The Atlantia needs
art!

(I'm joking.. really joking =)

Rutger's Anime Song Book? Now that's a great idea!.. I hope you
guys/gals set up a mail order deal in case I don't make it to AnimeE 93,
(since I'm not exactly planning to go at the moment..).

Five?

1) Atlantia (Newsletter of the Atlantic Anime Alliance)

2) Rutgers Anime Song Book

3) Ranma 1/2 Perfect Guide

4) SDF (Co-published by the Robotech Resistance and Rutgers Anime)

5) Anime Fandom Directory (Published by the Atlantic Anime Alliance)

6) Rutgers Anime Times (The RAT!)

7) Shizuka's Journal (The official newsletter of the International
Fans of Shizuka Kudo)

8) Rutgers Anime Manga-Zine [tentative title] (featuring translations
by Rutgers Anime members)

It's no wonder I dropped out of most of my APAs... (As well as
dropping out of classes several times...) Hey Mike! You may
be the busiest Anime fan in the world, but I think I have the east
coast locked up!
