Hi guys,

Does anyone know if there is a kit of the RX-105 Xi Gundam (from the Gundam -
Senku no Hathaway novels) around ?
Well, I know that there is no gunpla of it, but maybe a resin kit had been
released ?
And, if yes, do you know where to find it (or a recast) ?

Thanks ^^
PS : I think the Xi could make a great MG Kit...

The Xi would make a good master grade release. Maybe parts of the Nu could be
used in it.

I believe there were some Event Only 1/144(?) resin kit set sold last year
at JAFCON. I saw a couple being sold on Y!A JP for what amounts to an arm
and a leg...

I was wondering what does the Xi Gundam looks like? Anyone have picture of
it?

Here's a location for recasts of Xi-Gundam and The Penelope:
http://www2.animebox.com.hk/gunmisc_12.htm (remove "/gunmisc_12.htm" to
view the framed site)
I want to know why they won't sell them individually.

While we're on the topic of unofficial kits,
Anybody know where I could hunt down a Fujita Ver. of the Mk. II?

Thanks

This is Mark Simmons's take on the Xi Gundam

http://www.gundamproject.com/mecha/hathaway_xigundam.html

This may not be 100% accurate, Mark's artwork always differs a bit from the
original, often for the better (as with his takes on the Gundam's from the
Wing TV series). Should still give you the general idea, though.

Yes the only kit that I know of is a 1/144 Jafcon original. Heres one of
three that have been listed on Yahoo recently (trade
only)http://page3.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/c3880557
One appeared to be a re-cast but was still listed at 17,000 yen.

Gundam project has some very nice pics of the Xi and Penelope
http://www.gundamproject.com/mecha/hathaway.html

As for using parts from the Nu, it looks far more complex and
different.......

I totally agree abou Mark's designs. It'd be sweet to have a
Kowloon Gundam ver Simmons.

Another minor point, by the way, is that we don't say that we deconstruct
the text but that the text deconstructs itself. This way it looks less
like we are making things up.
