How tall are Gundam models?

Most Gundam mech models seem to be either 1:100 or 1:144 scale. I don't
know what a "real" Gundam mech's height actually is and so don't know how
tall the scaled models are. Would someone who has one post the height of
a 1:100 scale model either in inches or centimeters?

Depends, some models have the antennae and stuff, but usually
they're about 6 -7 inches in height. Well at least it looks like it.

Well, I've got two sitting here on top of my computer.
My Wing Gundam 0 (1:100 scale) is 7 inches tall.
My Deathscythe Hell (1:144 scale) is 5 inches tall

Most of the models I recall off the top of my head have specs on the
actual MS in the instructions (look for head height), is this not useful
for your purposes?

1:144 about 6.5 inch 1:60 about 17.5 inch
V-gundams are smaller "real" only about 15.2 meter average
1:100 about 9.5 inch

Your unit conversion are off...
16.5 meter in 1:100 scale = 16.5cm or 6.5 in
16.5 meter in 1:144 scale = 11.5cm or 4.5 in
Anyway, most of the pre-CCA MS range from about 18 to 23 meter. The RX-78
Gundam is listed at 18 meters and Nu-Gundam is 22 meters.

15.2 meter in 1:100 scale = 15.2cm or 6 in

I guess these are the most common scales for Gundam,Macross&ect.
I have been thinking about buying a 1/220 scale kit . the GP-04
what equation do you use to get those heights in cm&in.? Or how
big are 1/220 kits (gundam,macross) anyway? I know there small but
just how small are they?

1 inch = 2.54 cm
1 meter = 100 cm
to get the height of the kit, use:
(actual height in meter) * (scale unit) = (model in meter)
then convert meter to cm, in, etc..
For example, a GP04( 18.5 meter)
( 18.5 m) * ( 1/100) = ( .185 m) convert => 18.5 cm = 7.28 in
( 18.5 m) * ( 1/220) = ( .084 m) => 8.41 cm = 3.31 in
